Welcome to The Wagateur! Thanks for your interest in our Brand Ambassador Programme.
These following terms and conditions apply to individuals who are accessing or using the Programme both as a merchant (“we” or “merchant”) and a Brand Ambassador (“you” or “Brand Ambassador”) who refers customers to use product or service from the merchant.
By participating in the Programme, the Brand Ambassador agrees to use the Programme in the manner specified in, and are bound by, these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions in their entirety you are not authorised to register as a Brand Ambassador or participate in the Programme in any manner.
1. Approve or Reject of the Registration
We reserve the right to approve or reject ANY Brand Ambassador Programme Registration in our sole and absolute discretion. You will have no legal recourse against us for the rejection of your Brand Ambassador Programme Registration.
2. Brand Ambassador Links and Coupon
Your Brand Ambassador link is automatically generated, but you can also generate a link for a specific product or collection. If a person clicks on someone else’s referral link and then later they click on yours, yours is the one that counts.
You might or might not be assigned to one coupon code with details and usage clarified on the Dashboard. If a customer clicks on the Brand Ambassador link and uses the coupon code, you will not receive a double commission. If you’re not assigned a branded coupon, then you’re not allowed to promote the coupon.
You may also advertise our Wagateur website on online channels such as Facebook, Instagram, your website etc. or offline classified channel ads, magazines, and newspapers.
3. Commissions and payment
For any customer you refer to make a purchase on our website, you will get a commission amount which is calculated based on our Commission structure. Commission amount is dependent on order value and does not include extra fees (tax, shipping cost,...). If the customer has never bought from us before, they will be attributed to your account and you will receive commissions on whatever they buy (whilst you remain a Brand Ambassador).
To receive a commission, you need to specify the payment details on Settings. Payment schedule will be notified on Brand Ambassador Guide page.
Payments will only be sent for transactions that have been successfully completed. Use of the Brand Ambassador Programme is subject to a fair use policy which gives merchant the right to review each and every referral order. Status of commission if displayed in Commission tab, any paid commission will be listed on Payment tab. Transactions that result in charge backs or refunds will not be paid out.
4. Marketing tool
We may share promotional media such as banners, logo, social media impages or specific collection promotion to you through the Marketing tool tab. You can download the media or get the HTML embed code in order to share as a Brand Ambassador.
5. Network
You can invite others to become a Brand Ambassador. Your will receive a commission on the sales commission those Brand Ambassadors earn.
To invite other Brand Ambassadors into the system, share your network link and anyone who clicks on that link and is accepted as a Brand Ambassador will be added to your network.
6. Cookies
We use a cookie to track people who have clicked on your link, so they need to be using cookies for us to track them.
If a person doesn't allow cookies or clears their cookies, then we can't track them so can't pay earnings on that person's activity.
The length of time a cookie is active is specified on your account. The tracking day will start from the time a customer clicks on the Brand Ambassador’s link or uses the coupon. Within the cookie time, every order made by this customer at merchant website will automatically result in commissions to the Brand Ambassador (There’s no need for the customer to click on the Brand Ambassador link then).
7. Intellectual Property
The intellectual property owned by the merchant includes all copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, patents, and other intellectual property belonging to the merchant ("Merchant IP").
Subject to the limitations listed below, we hereby grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access our websites in conjunction with the Affiliate Program and use the Merchant IP solely and exclusively in conjunction with identifying our company and brand on the Affiliate Site to send customers to the Affiliate links we provide. You may not modify the Merchant IP in any way and you are only permitted to use the Merchant IP if you are an Affiliate in good standing with us.
We may revoke this license at any time and if we find that you are using the Merchant IP in any manner not contemplated by this Agreement, we reserve the right to terminate this Agreement.
Other than as provided herein, you are not permitted to use any of the Merchant IP or any confusingly similar variation of the Merchant IP without our express prior written permission. This includes a restriction on using the Merchant IP in any domain or website name, in any keywords or advertising, in any metatags or code, or in any way that is likely to cause consumer confusion.
Unauthorised use of any Merchant IP shall constitute infringement and we reserve all of our legal rights with respect to infringement.
You hereby provide us a non-exclusive license to use your name, trademarks and servicemarks if applicable and other business intellectual property to advertise our Affiliate Program.
8. Removal from Referral Programme
If you wish to be removed from the Brand Ambassador Programme, you can do so by contacting: care@wagateur.com.
We have very high standards for our Brand Ambassadors. There are two requirements to remain as a brand ambassador:
1. Our primary guiding principle is “The animal’s health and well-being come first”. And we expect our brand ambassadors to live by this standard in everything they do. So, if we find an ambassador doing anything contra to this, we will remove them immediately from our program. This includes things like poor customer reviews, recommending or using “balanced” or “aversive” training
2. Your rolling 12-month commission paid from first time customer orders (ie: customers who make their first Wagateur purchase during the past 12 months) exceeds £50. This works out at less than 2 new customer purchases per month.
3. You only use your private discount code for personal purchases for your dog(s).
If you fail to comply with those conditions, we will remove you as a Brand Ambassador. This is at our sole and absolute discretion. You will have no legal recourse against us for the removal as a Brand Ambassador.
